Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York revealed the latest trends this upcoming season: looser dresses, longer hemlines and fur is in! The theme is "wearable chic" with a dash of easy sexiness. The fashions covered every color of the spectrum from bold reds, the little black dress redefined to everything in between.

Feminine Wiles

Trend-setter Vera Wang's fall/winter collection consisted of monochromatic hues with many layers of texture evoking a woman's touch. Relative newcomer Thuy Diep made a bold statement with radiant colors and playful layering. Stand-outs this year included Christian Siriano's stunning ballgowns and Alexander Wang's interpretation of wearable lingerie.

Stars Align

The stars came out in full force both on and off the runway. The annual Heart Truth's Red Dress Fashion Show benefiting women and heart disease awareness had Heidi Klum, Kim Kardashian and Kristin Chenoweth seeing (and wearing) red. Stars who came to support their favorite designers included Alexa Chung, Kirsten Dunst, and Chloe Sevigny.
